SoftParser4Research est un outil d'exploration et d'analyse des logiciels de la forge UGA dans le cadre de la science ouverte, ainsi qu'un support à leur valorisation. Ce projet est mis en oeuvre par la cellule Codes Données Grenoble Alpes, OSPO de l'UGA, dans le cadre de sa mission de valorisation des produits de recherche.

This project holds a raw jupyter notebook, to be filled with user-defined parameters and options, to download CMIP6 data through a csv file. It was done thanks to the intake-esgf python module : https://intake-esgf.readthedocs.io/en/latest/. It is associated to an utilitary package that can be found on pypi. The development of this package is done within this repository.

Many options are available to preprocess the data and improve the output of the intake-esgf catalog.

This project aims at using the APRP method, developed in Taylor, K. E. and al. (2007) (doi:10.1175/JCLI4143.1) and Zelinka, M. D., T. Andrews, P. M. Forster, and K. E. Taylor, 2014 (doi:10.1002/2014JD021710), on the Arctic for an ensemble CMIP6 model.
