Adapt the imports for making the project usable as a package

Issue

If I don't refer to the main folder name in the imports import_cmip6_data, the import fails.

What to change

I want to change the imports to make them work and test if that does not perturb the notebook imports.

I should also remove one layer as the import-cmip6-data layer seems to add problems rather than solving them.
